About me

Hello my name is Rebecca Cummins and I am the proud owner of North Cornwall Canine Massage based in Bude. I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse, Clinical Canine Massage Practitioner and a member of the Canine Massage Guild. I have always had a strong interest in our canine friends and undertook a canine behaviour course early on in my career. I first became interested in the muscular health of the dog after performing minor surgeries in my role as a veterinary nurse. I noticed that there were sometimes limited options to improve the quality of life for dogs who were suffering from painful orthopaedic conditions, following surgery or those who had sustained a soft tissue injury. I went on to complete a two year course with the Canine Massage Therapy Centre with the aim of being able to help those dogs that need extra support.

I utilise a variety of techniques including sports, Swedish, deep tissue massage, myofascial release techniques and the Lenton method® to improve the overall muscular health of the dogs and improve their quality of life.
The changes I see in the dogs I treat are so rewarding, I am so pleased to help dogs in such a positive way that impacts not just them physically but also their relationship and enjoyment with their family.
